CAD/CAM Technician

CAD/CAM scanning, uploading files, equipment calibration, case entry, case matching, digital impression processing, reading and following client's instructions.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Download digital scans and prescriptions
  • Read and interpret Doctor's prescription forms to design porcelain restorations
  • Perform Data Entry functions for digital files
  • Upload files for fabrication
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality standards are met
  • Demonstrate a high standard of work ethic and professionalism at all times
  • Operate CAD / CAM equipment such as milling machines and sintering ovens
  • Share responsibility for the cleanliness and maintenance of the CAD / CAM room
  • Represent the company and department in a positive and supportive manner at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1-year computer operator or related experience
  • Experience with CAD / CAM systems and knowledge of dental anatomy is a plus, but not required
