Logistics Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

    • Receives case, opens case and disinfects case for production according to the documented procedure
    • Completely reads prescription and assign proper case pan
    • Scores Impressions
    • Document all materials received from dental office
    • Performs the scheduling function for each case according to the documented procedure
    • Through LIS enter demographics and customer information
    • Print preference notes matching to each case
    • Move case into production area
    • Disinfect work area according to the documented procedure
    • Packaging of dental cases according to the documented procedure
    • Packs and ships case for delivery through local source or national carrier
    • File and scan paperwork as needed
    • Wear proper personal protective equipment when performing work tasks that require them and follow safety guidelines as stated in NDX safety policy
    • Act as an active advocate to others in the lab regarding safety compliance
    • Support supervisor and lab president in creating a positive atmosphere within the department
    • All other duties as assigned

    • Able to perform accurate data entry of both alpha and numeric characters at a minimum 35 keystrokes per minute

    Minimum Education and Experience Required:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • General knowledge of Microsoft Office products
    • Entry Level; paid training will be provided

     

     Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

    • Disinfectant process chemicals
      • Opti-Cide disinfectant
    • Personal protective equipment as required.
    • Office equipment

     

    Physical Requirements:

    • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach
    • Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions using both arms and hands grasping, gripping, pinching, lifting, pushing and carrying. Constantly lifting & carrying 0-10 lbs. 
    • Good hand-eye coordination
    • Good manual dexterity
    • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
    • Repeated bending and kneeling
    • Vision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail and/or color
    • Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds
